When registering for classes this fall and spring, please try to schedule class after 9:15am on Tuesdays and Thursdays and before 4pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. This will help with practice ice scheduling for the fall!

FAQ'S For Prospective Skaters
Do I need to be a member of the University of Illinois Skating Club in order to compete with the team?
No, you may remain a member of your home club, as long as your membership is kept up-to-date you may compete with the team. However, many girls choose to be a part of the U of I club, because it is cheaper than their home rink.
How do I become a member of the University of Illinois Skating Club?
Our membership fees are $40. You may write a check addressed to 'UI Figure Skating Club' and mail it to Audrey's home address. Please email her directly at audrey.kamm@gmail.com for her address.
How often does the team practice?
The Open-Collegiate team practices 2 days a week plus work-out and the Collegiate team practices 3 days a week plus work-out.
What other activities does the team do?
We have team dinners , game nights, movies, study sessions, and attend other activites organized by our social chair.
Can I still do other activites besides ice skating, if I join the team?
Many girls on the team participate in other activites besides synchronized skating, including sororities, music, other univeristy clubs and sports. There are also a number of girls also who maintian jobs during the season.
Can you make up the school work you miss when we travel to competitions?
For each competition, we receive a letter from the Emergency Dean asking your teachers to excuse you from class. Almost every teacher is understanding, but a few may need a letter from Audrey, which she is more than happy to provide.

Team Information
US Figure Skating Team Status
The University of Illinois Synchronized Skating Team compete at the Collegiate and Open Collegiate levels. Collegiate skaters must have passed their Juvenile Moves in the Field test and Open Collegiate has no level restrictions.
University Support
We are classified as a Registered Student Organization and an Intercollegiate Sports Club at the University of Illinois. Each season, the team treasurer applies for funding from the Student Organization Resource Fund. This contributes to the team budget in addition to skater dues and fundraising.
