US Figure Skating Team Status
The University of Illinois Synchronized Skating Team competes at the Collegiate  level.  Teams participating in the Collegiate Division of synchronized skating are comprised of 16-20 skaters enrolled in a university or college.  All skaters must have passed their Juvenile Moves in the Field test.

University Support
We are classified as a Registered Student Organization and an Intercollegiate Sports Club at the University of Illinois.  Each season, the team treasurer applies for funding from the Student Organization Resource Fund.  This contributes to the team budget in addition to skater dues and fundraising.

Illinois Synchronized Skating is taking steps towards beceoming a varsity sport at the University of Illinois.
